Refresh of UI for Adding Elements and Questions to a Template
We've done a major rework of the UI for adding questions and elements to a template to make things more efficient and bring the tools in line with your favorite applications. Elements are now added by first selecting the relevant tool to the left of the preview. A single click on the design will add an element with a default size, or you can click and drag to draw an element at the desired size. Questions can now be added using the new icons on the left-hand side of the questions panel.

Inline and Extended Template Editor Modes
To support the increasing need for templates based on our inline editing functionality, we've introduced two modes to the template editor. Newly created templates start in Inline mode, which is perfect for inline templates, or you can switch to Extended mode, which will enable the full set of functionality including questions, scaling, and custom logic.

Asset Library / Search
We have renamed the “Search” function within Brandgility to be called “Asset Library”. This change appears when looking in “My Account” or when searching for content in the Asset Library.

Color Attribute
The ability to configure a color attribute has been introduced. Once this new type of attribute has been created, it can be associated as a piece of metadata to an asset, a campaign or a user, thus allowing a color code setting to be carried by this object. Further development is underway to enable a color code setting to be used within a template and be applied to various elements.

Manage UI
Manage UI Lock
For clients that have access to the Home page builder function and the ability to adjust the UI configuration settings, we have introduced a new lock mechanism. This is to prevent different users within the same client from accidentally overwriting each other’s work/changes, when using the Manage UI functionality. So, if you see a “padlock” icon instead of an edit pencil, then that section or page is currently being updated by a colleague and so is locked to you.
Reporting
There has been a couple of enhancements applied to the reporting within Brandgility:
-
Output Spec by Asset report1.
This new report lists all of your assets and shows the Output spec(s) that is assigned to each one. -
Expiry date of an Asset captured in reporting2
The expiry date of an asset is now available to the reporting tool to be included in relevant reports.
1Requires the “Output Spec” functionality being enabled.
2Requires the “Expiry date” functionality being enabled.
