Placeholders
Overview
Use Placeholders when you want end users to enter information on a template within a defined structure. Placeholders can be populated from attributes and variables with quick logic and user-defined logic.
A Placeholder in a text element can be associated with a Question, so that the end user's answer to that Question is displayed in the Placeholder on the canvas:
You can specify text that must be included at the start and end of the text entered by the end user. For example, in a drinks' menu, you can allow end users to enter their own prices but enforce currency signs at the start of the prices.
You can also use multiple Placeholders to allow varied text within the same text element, for example a headline and body text. Each of these text items can have different text styling.
Note:
You can use the same Placeholder in multiple places on a template. When the end user sets the value in the associated Question, all instances of the Placeholder display the specified answer.
