Templates and Sub Templates

In Brandgility, templates and sub templates are two of the available asset types. An asset can be a template or a sub template, but not both. Just like templates, sub templates can be defined for print or digital purposes. Print sub templates can be embedded only within print templates, and digital sub templates can be embedded only within digital templates.

Sub templates have all the main features of templates and work just like templates -- you can add the same elements and define the same questions. However, there are some differences between templates and sub templates:

• On the Search page, end users can only see templates, not sub templates.

• Users cannot place an order for a sub template unless it is embedded within a template.

• Sub templates can only have one page (but they can be embedded in multi-page templates).
