Setting properties for a question
The following properties are common to most question types:
Properties | Description |
---|---|
ID | A unique reference for the question. Not visible to end users. When you create a question, an ID is generated automatically by Brandgility. If you wish, you can edit the ID. |
Title | The question title that is presented to end users. |
Hint | Hint text for the end user, to provide information about how they should answer the question. For example, "Select your region." |
Example | Example text that will appear in the question input field when it is blank. This is not the default value of the field. |
Quick Logic | Use quick logic to link the question to an element on the canvas. This will generate a logic entry that will set the element value to the question value (See Logic panel for further details). |
Focus element | If you want this question to be displayed only when the end user selects a specific element in the canvas, select that element here. For more information, see Section 9.4. |
Show for Frame/Spread | If your template has multiple frames or spreads, you can specify which frame or spread the question will appear for. |
Type | Choose text or number. |
Direction | For a text question, select the text direction that matches the question language. For example, select "Right to left" if the question text is in Arabic. |
