Archiving Output Files

You can configure Brandgility to automatically archive your ordered output files to an external location (e.g. an SFTP server) every time an order is placed.

To set up automatic archiving, first create a new Mandatory Order Archive partner, and then use this for the asset types you wish to archive.

Creating a Mandatory Order Archive partner

To create a new Mandatory Order Archive partner:

  1. Select My Account > Manage Partners.

  2. Select Add a New Partner.

  3. From the Type drop-down list, select Mandatory Order Archive.

  4. Fill in the remaining sections. For further details, see Managing Partners.

  5. In the Delivery section, choose where you want the archived output files to be sent. For further details, see Managing Partners.

Choosing an asset type to archive the output

To choose which asset types you want to archive automatically:

  1. Select My Account > Manage Asset Types. For more details on asset types, see Managing Asset Types.

  2. Select for the asset type that you want to archive automatically.

  3. On the right-hand side, scroll down to the Digital Output Type section (for digital asset types), or to the Print Output Type section (for print asset types):

  4. Select the Archive checkbox for the output types that you want to archive.

  5. In the Archive Provider column, select the appropriate Mandatory Order Archive partner.

  6. In the Archive File section, select the output format that you wish to archive:

    • None -- No file is archived.

    • Production -- An exact copy of the ordered item is archived.

    • Production Proof -- An exact copy of the ordered item with a "Proof" watermark on it is archived.

    • Preview Proof -- A lower quality copy of the ordered item with a "Proof" watermark on it is archived.

  7. At the top right-hand corner, select Update.
