Setting an Asset Expiry Date

If an asset is time limited, you can set an expiry date and time for it. At this date and time, the asset becomes unavailable to the end user (but remains visible to administrators on the Search page).

To set an expiry date for an asset:

1. Create an asset or select the Edit this Asset icon for the asset you want to edit.

2. In the Status field, select Active.

3. In the Expiry date and time field, use the calendar and clock to enter the expiration details, or leave the field blank if the asset has no expiry date.

4. Select Save.
