Changing an Asset Type

Whenever you create an asset, you choose its asset type, which is a permanent decision. If you need to change the asset type, you will need to make a copy of the asset and give the duplicate the desired asset type.

Note: You can only change an asset type to another compatible type. For example, you cannot change a digital template asset to a print template asset.

To duplicate the asset:

1. Select Search.

2. Find the relevant asset you want to copy and select Duplicate this Asset.

3. In the Details section, enter the new name and adjust the asset type.

4. In the Attributes section, you can modify the attributes assigned to this asset type.

5. Select Save.
