Importing Assets

To start importing assets, follow the instructions in the section 6.5 above to obtain an Excel spreadsheet in the correct format.

Note: To access this page, you need to have the Manage Asset Import/Export permission set.

The administrator edits the spreadsheet outside of Brandgility, as per Section 6.6 and then drops the updated file into the drop box. The system validates the spreadsheet on import and sends an email with a link to an error excel file. As each record of the import is successfully processed, the associated asset is either newly created, updated with the changes supplied or deleted (as per the import action value).

Admin users can upload or maintain multiple assets within Brandgility by using this option.
