Static images in Brandgility have tooltips that provide additional information to users. When the user hovers over an image, a text box displays. Tooltips are also read by screen readers.

Alternative text

By default, a tooltip contains the asset name. To display different text, for example a description of the image, you can set an alt tag with alternative text.

You can add alternative text for the following items:

• Banners in Ad rotators

• Tiles (except for dynamic tiles)

• Footer layout images

• Image sections
